The dialogue helps out a lot in understanding, because you can understand what everyone is thinking. This would be opposed to just the narrator trying to explain everything. I don't mind the dialogue in helping me try to understand the story.

    2. vexed- (pg13)- adj - irritated; annoyed

The dialogue was helpful in that the book was easier to understand because it was like watching a movie and you just get to listent to the people converse. It held my interest a little better than a book such as Frankenstein. In Frankenstein the author does a lot of description and it gets quite tiresome and I easily lost interest in that book. This book was much easier to keep focused on because of the dialogue.
